FIshermen and other mariners using boats and kayaks spell out a message - SOS ACID OCEAN - on the waters of Kachemak Bay near Homer, Alaska on September 6th, 2009. The aerial art event is to raise awareness of ocean acidification and was produced by Aerial Artist John Quigley along with the Alaska Marine Conservation Council, Sustainable Fisheries Partnership, and a bunch of volunteers.
